There are loads of rappers that use ghost writers. I don't even know why people care so much in this day and age. Some of their favorites don't even write their own ****.
When I first heard the story. I thought it was just the media again trying to create a beef out of something vague and the fans just eating it up like it is a fact. She may be talking about her but I don't care until she actually calls out her name specifically then it is a non issue.

This is a great conversation. I think there was very little shade in her comment but she could have been directing it at anyone!
I think rappers take SO much credit for being the best in the game so when they don't write their own stuff it really is kind of weird. And i mean some verses written by others, or even songs... that's one thing. But for most of your verses to be written by others, it's just a little off |

I can still enjoy a manufactured song but we're talking about rappers here. Anybody can spit lyrics someone else has written for you, it's really not difficult. Singers can be excused as often it is more about how they sound than what they're saying but not really rappers.
Maybe it is more common than I realise, doesn't make it any less shit. |

It can still sound good; I enjoy both of Dre's albums, even enjoy foreign music in languages I don't understand based purely on what it sounds like, but it takes a lot away from him as a 'rapper' if he's not writing his own bars. There really is nothing special about rapping somebody else's bars. Most of us on here could do it. |

Yeah, you could be good at hitting all the syllables and staying on beat but anyone who listens to Hip-Hop would be able to do that surely.
And who listens to Hip-Hop to see how fast or clear people can spit? May as well listen to DnB. I'm just saying on an individual level I don't rate 'rappers' who have everything written for them. |
