Erm... I think being 'pretentious' sort of comes with the territory when we are posting about music in a forum that isn't for people who only listen to what is on the radio.

He is fun, but a little bit of self awareness would go a long way.

His lyrics are most of the time....awful. But yeah his songs can be catchy. It wasn't really aimed at you, I just hate when people consider others as not "real fans" just because they like an artist. Quite patronising, which is a pet peeve of mine.
