I love him. He talks a lot about things I don't feel like I hear a lot in mainstream rap.

I really like Gambino. He makes lines that would sound corny coming from other artist sound legit. I feel he is really smart with his lyrics but now and then I hear him say I heard others say. I respect him though and he is definetly better than most Commercial Rappers out now

I like how it sounded like he stopped and started having a conversation but then flowed back into the freestyle.

3005

Melrose

Melrose sounds like a Weeknd song.

Also if you are a Gambino fan you may like this short film that he did recently

I've only listened to it once or twice but is there more to the album than just the songs being there. Like some sort of story/theme going on?

I feel like there is but I have no idea what that specific story is.

Especially the way he has the tracklisting labeled.

Yes, it actually soundtracks a play that he wrote. Pitchfork wrote a review encapsulating all the projects that kind of feed into the album. You can ignore everything else on there, but the beginning of the review talks about the elements surrounding the album.

Some of the album is just not very good, but I dig the majority of it.

7/10 and I am sure it will grow on me.

I like Gambino because he doesn't take himself so seriously like a lot of rappers, you can tell hes having fun and I dig that about him.

I gotta check out the new album
