Just wanted to stop in and say that Camp is great.

It is a good album, but I think it is also a bit confused. He puts in a few too many comments about f***ing girls and awful things like that, which does not fit into his credo.

Just got into this guy recently and wow, I am blown away. I am a huge Community fan so I checked it out thinking "oh it's an actor making music, this will be awfully average". But god, I was wrong. I got the whole discography but it seems like I have really got into him in the peak of his game cause the EP was my favourite and Camp is sounding pretty fantastic too!

I agree with a lot of what they said. He has some downright TERRIBLE songs on that album. Every time I go back I dislike it even more to the point where I have already mentally selected about five that I can bare to listen to.

That's weird, when I first saw this on pitchfork, I swear they gave it like a 7 or something. Anyway, my respect for pitchfork just got a boost (not that it needed one). My favorite part was "If you buy only one hip-hop album this year, I'm guessing it'll be Camp." So true.

It's also funny because you can clearly see who listens to "real rap" and who listens to mainstream bullshit/doesn't listen to rap based on how much you like Childish Gambino.

I only listen to mainstream bull**** because I listen Childish Gambino? That couldn't be farther from the truth.

I listen to just about everything under the sun. Mainstream/Radio, Underground, etc. And I still like Childish Gambino. Not everything needs to be serious or scene changing. Dude has nice lines, and I enjoy the sound and humor in his music.

If that means you think I have bad taste in music, so be it.
