I generally don't like rap and hip-hop, but there are rare exceptions...

Just been getting back into the Native Tongues collective: Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, etc. Truly was the golden age of hip hop to my middle aged ears.

De La Soul & The Roots are absolute base for Conscious Hip Hop. Therefore you can go through charts like said beforehand.

But a fine topic to discussion - Is Experimental Hip Hop correctly connected to the Conscious Hip Hop database? Like what would be the foundation for the counsciousness, topic or the flow, themes running through the tracks? Because for me, seeing billy woods in the same jar as De La Soul is somewhat disturbing.

Jamblock Jr from Bogotá, Colombia. His deliver is awesome. Like a salsa sonero, but rapping. His lyrics are also very aware of culture.

Here I leave a song called OHWTO from him (second verse), Norm Regular from Baltimore (first verse) and W910 from Cali, Colombia (in the production).
