My little guilty pleasure(not really) “WAP” with Cardi B.
I personally don’t understand the hate towards the song, i like it.

WAP does nothing for me but anything that makes Ben Shapiro mad gets my respect.

It doesn't make him mad. It makes him flustered. Cardi B won by making Ben say "wet ass p-word" over and over again.

Well ok I wouldn't say WAP does nothing for me, I do think on a conceptual level it's really funny, some of the lyrics make me laugh and the fact it's pissed off so many people makes it even funnier.

It's just that on a musical level I don't find anything really remarkable about it, but that's not the reason it's so infamous is it?

But if nothing else we have this song to thank for all the memes about Ben Shapiro not knowing vaginas can get wet and I can't think Cardi B enough for that.

I never hear anyone talking about Ran Reed. He's another concious hiphop artists from the 90s. Never really got that popular but his archival album Respect the Architect is something I regularly revisit.

My cousin (who is forty years old) once had WAP as her ringtone for nearly a year. It was very funny watching her scramble to her phone whenever it rang to avoid my grandmother hearing the song.
