geesh louis bro top 3?

it's a nice concept album but i don't even regard it as his best work, not by a lot.

For me it goes
Float
Bazooka Tooth
none shall pass
labor days

Seriously? Float is your top album from him? I've always regarded that as one of those quintessential "before he found his voice" kinds of albums.

I love Float, Bazooka Tooth (which for some silly reason people don't seem to even like), and None Shall Pass, but Labor Days is probably the best. Its definitely at least as good as the other 3. And as for 'concept album' - did you read that on wikipedia? I think I missed the concept.

I always felt that Bazooka Tooth is at least as conceptual - the concept being the life of a nerdy kid with with bad teeth who grew up in Brooklyn back when white people generally didn't live there. I could be totally wrong about that of course. Except for the bad teeth part.

Come off it Sparky bro... My favourite Hip Hop album, closely followed by "Liquid Swords".

Glad you liked it Frown, real grower as well considering how complex his lyrics are.

to me it sounds like he has more of a voice



I fear his next release is going to be his blandest yet, signing with rhymesayers will do that.

his verse starts at like 1:08 and its real dense and angsty and anti-establishment which is why its nice to me
