1,2,4,7 and 10 are decent
even 9 but I know the general consensus against him and his group so I won't go into that.

Bah I've never liked Missy Elliot and Snoop and Jay are two of the most over rated rappers of the past like 15 years. I'll credit Jay, he has had a good amount of hit singles so maybe that's more of my personal dislike for him. Snoop has one good song every like 6 years, I've honestly not liked anything he's done after he stopped workin with Dre and stuff back in the '90s. After he got rich and became a celeb, his rap started sucking. Lil Kim is alright though, and I haven't really listened to WillIAms rhymes so I base my dislike for him off of the Black Eyed Peas. And of course I think Em is awesome, I had him as number 2. Disgraceful to have all those guys above Em though, cmon virgin.

Missy Elliot doesn't get as much credit as she deserves. She's very underrated imo. If people heard some of her singles that weren't radio hits they would see how skilled she really is. Jay is pretty consistent though, sure he flubs up a verse from time to time but who doesn't You are right though Em is leagues ahead of everyone that is listed there.

meh it's fine, you can have as many as you want in the list but if you are just putting down a list like that it doesn't seem like much sacrifice is all to really narrow it down to 10.

I hear yah on that, it wasn't very "to-the-point" but hip-hop/rap is a genre that has so much to offer. lyrics spanning in content from street life, positive influence, rollin some fat blunts and having a good time, romance, inner struggles, drug dealing, racial issues, politics, ect. Not to mention DJ's/Producers that are at the top of their game as well, complementing the MC to bring the lyrics to life. With all of these in mind it makes it difficult for me to have a top 10 of the entire genre.

I went with who i thought had the best flow, lyrics and swag/energy as a single entity since this is about top 10 rap artist, not top 10 of the whole genre that includes producers, DJs , groups , collabs and the whole nine.
