Favorite Beats
Since beats are obviously one of the most important aspects of hip hop, I've decided we need a favorite beats thread. So here you go, post your favorite beats and try to include the producer if you know who it is. I'll try not to post the entire Dilla catalog, but I'm not making any promises
A few prime cuts: (I think all three are sick, but the first two are especially ill.) |

I'll probably come back and embed the videos right after I get past the 15 or so posts!
Anyway, I like the beats from Spark My Soul-Cunninlynguists, KKKY-Cunninlynguists, Ring Ding Dong-Dr. Dre, Let Me Ride- Dr. Dre Last edited by Phoenix; 02-22-2010 at 12:04 AM. |

I've been really into this Jazz/Hip-hop band from Honolulu called The deadbeats. Killer beats. None of there youtube videos seem to provide a good listen, but their myspace has a few songs: The deadbeats on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads.

Nujabes is a dope producer(from Japan). Here's one of his more popular tracks.
DJ Debris is an awesome producer as well. He manages to keep the beats for the hilltops commercial enough to appeal to the masses and still manages to capture that hip hop vibe. His beats combined with their intelligent and inspiring lyrics is an amazing combination. And of course MC Bliss and DJ Izm are extremely talented as well. Enjoy.

Just here for my weekly bump.
Completely forgot about my love for this track until I rediscovered it recently. Very underrated RJ track.
