Oldie but goodie. Tommy Boy had some essential beats back in the day:

Quite simple in terms of beats but I love that bassline and the Trad. Irish instrumentation plus I have to big up U.K Hip Hop even if it is 16 years old!:

Liking the industrial noise on this one:

Hell yeah:

I like the drum sound!

Simple piano loop with a great rhythm. Sounds great at night after a j or two, real ominous and spiritual.

Basically a drum track dubbed over minimalist synth that just bumps to good. Perfect compliment to the king of Oakland hyphy.

Masterful blend of samples and beat. King Gheedorah AKA MF DOOM is known for his lyrical versatility, but he's also an accomplished beatsmith. This track is a paragon of the modern producer's staple output; sample-driven jazz loops over eccentric drums.

Not my favourite EL-P track, but the vocal sample and horn groove are just so right.

El-p is definitely one of the best. Cannibal Ox album was the bomb.

There are alot of great instrumental releases nowadays from All City Dublin 7" series and for example Bullion's Get Familiar. Debruit released a killer EP as well.

By the Neptunes:

And one of my all-time favorite tracks, Pete Philly & Perquisite - Mystery Repeats. Cello hiphop beats.
