Its an instrumental hip hop album with overt eastern infleunces. Aparrently started when he was in vietnam and discovered alot of old battered vinayl and this was the result.

Absloutely stunning, been litstening to it alot recently having rediscovered it.

Any fans of Instrumental Hip hop ahoould check it out.

I downloaded this about a month ago but haven't played it yet. I've heard a few tracks on shuffle though, but it's hard to really get a feel for the album from those few songs because it's comprised of many short tracks.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I really am looking forward to the day I download that album as those are two steller tracks. But yeah, I'll drop by and tell ya guys what I think of the album after I give it a proper spin but this guy's been on my radar for months.

Onra is an awesome beatsmith. My absolute fav track is My Comet which was released on a 7" by All City Dublin. There's also a pretty good album called Tribute with a fellow producer Quetzal. By the sound of the beats on that one I bet the tribute is for Dilla.

For more eastern flavored beats I suggest you check out Oh No - Dr No's Oxperiments. Some samples from Turkey and around near-east.
