Default devin the dude

I know that the South, Houston especially, gets overlooked by most casual rap fans, but I can't figure out why this is. They've got some of the smoothest rappers and sickest producers in the country, and Devin certainly makes a strong case for Houston's scene. If you've never heard of him then you're really missing out, he's got this great r&b type flow and usually has great beats too. My favorite album is The Dude, anyone else a fan?

I've heard of this guy but I haven't given much of a listen. My favorite track I've heard is cutcha up, the lyrics are pretty ridiculous

This guy doesn't get enough attention. Always drops a great verse if he's featuring on a track and his albums are amazing. Layed back style and the beats usually compliment this well. Just Tryin' Ta Live was one of my favourite albums for a long time, got it imported from the USA back when I was like 16. Some of his lyrics are hilarious too, doesn't take himself too seriously like 99% of hip hop artists out there and has the rare ability in hip hop to be self deprecating.

Keep it up Devin!
