Default Skinny White Guy Freestyle Rapper

I saw this skinny white guy rapper on one of music banter's threads awhile ago. I really am having troubles remembering who he is but I remember thinking he was awesome so I want to find him again. The video I saw was him really drunk and freestyling and when the other guy was dissing him he was just laughing and smiling and having a good time. You could tell he loved what he did.

Who I know its NOT:
Eminem
Hilltop Hoods
Vanilla Ice
Necro
Asher Roth

Don't think that's him but thank you. The guy is not terribly well known but I remember the guys on the thread all had respect for him. If I remember correctly he had short black or brown hair and just kinda acted like a kid. But he just tore up this big black gangster looking fellow.

I had a while where I was obsessed with Eyedea, man. Start with his Oliver Hart album, it's probably the best thing he's done. Then, between E&A and First Born depends on the weather, how things are in your life, or what kind of mood you're looking for.

First Born, Eyedea uses monotony as a tool to sound distant and unhappy. The sounds are spacey, dark, and in general, Eyedea's kind of a teenager philosophy guy - so it's bitchy. Really, I'd say this is their most solid album.

E&A is a bit more uptempo and has its fun and its boring moments, with re-occurring themes of teenage angst. It might be easier to sit through and more accessible than First Born, though.

By The Throat really disappointed me. I thought the sounds were pretty ugly, to be honest. It's a lot more electronic oriented, beat-wise. I've only sat through it about twice.

Also, you want to look up every freestyle you can find by him. He's fucking excellent.

He had a rock project on the side, since he'd rather be a rocker than a rapper, called Carbon Carousel. Let me tell you right now - it sucks. It's just typical teenage angst grunge tinted rock music.

I'll PM you links.

Hey, this is a great title of a thread about Eyedea. Btw, he lost to Murs in that video..
First Born is the only one I am really into but I have liked it for a while - back in 'the day' it was said many times that Eyedea was almost Eminem (both won Scribble Jam). I guess I don't like any of his later stuff much because I never listen to it. I did get a chance to see Eyedea & Abilities a long long time ago - and I bought the Soul Position CD from Blueprint himself and drunkenly told him that it was the best hip-hop show I'd ever seen so it must have been good (honestly, I remember Blueprint's set a lot more - and he was first).
