This. I can't stand it when people blast it to the point where my car is shaking or if I am walking, the ground is shaking. YOU ARE NOT COOL.

the overwhelming majority are. it's more a matter of personal courtesy than what volume level you like listening to music at. if you really enjoy the sound of ears bleeding do it with your windows up, or better yet, while you're at home.

A lot of my friends are guilty of woofer abuse in their cars, now i'm not exactly the most considerate when it comes to my music's volume (in my room) but with their loudness it's definitely about being cool.

Sometimes I don't even realize how loud I'm playing music in the car, especially when I'm just cruising around at night. Then I get in my car the next morning to drive to work/school and consequently blasted out of my skin. I'm too poor to afford subs anyways.

....word. Especially if your bumper's made out of plastic. Especially at my work where they leave the stereo on in the parking lot when they go in to grab milk. Sometimes it's so loud I have to yell at customers for them to make out what I'm saying.....douche bags. |

Don't drive. It's easier. You can then pollute your own ears with as much crap as you like on your MP3 player and also block out the twat with his windows down.
