Default The Ecstatic

Anyone listen to it yet? It is probably my favorite Mos Def solo album. It is ten times better than The New Danger, which was total **** of course.

I actually was completely disappointed in it. Not a very good album. The only highlight for me was...

Pretty standard album for him I think, it reminds me a lot of Born Like This.

I enjoyed it as much as Black on Both Sides. Got it last week from another site, but I think Dreadnaught is right, it's very standard for him.

I haven't heard it, but I will definitely post what I think once I have. I find it hard to believe it's better than or equally good as Black on Both Sides. Then again it is Mos Def.

Off topic: Del's Eleventh Hour sucked so bad, it actually made me like him less. I just hope Mos Def, or anyone else for that matter, can not do the same.

I have listened to it a couple of times today.....but I don't know how I feel about it yet....maybe I need to hear it a couple of more times....the only track that really stands out to me atm.....is casa bey

I guess my mind is too clouded from listening to The E.N.D. pretty much on repeat for a majority of the day. I took a break to listen to Ecstatic but then back to it lol.

I love it, I'd go as far as to say that its among the best hip-hop releases of the year.

I don't know- I tried to get a feel for it... and was a little disappointed to hear a few of the same Madlib beats I've been bumping from Beat Konducta all this year. Rather short too. I think I'll pass on this for now.
