Ʊ Favorite Live Show Ʊ
Typically, live hip-hop concerts aren't great. At least the bigger ones. I went to see Eminem, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Redman a few years ago and wasn't very impressed. Couldn't hear much, it was sort of just to SEE those rappers. But you go to some smaller shows, usually underground artists and you can hear them rap, sometimes it's actually better. I have just a handful of shows to pick from so I came up with two of the best.
Sunspot Jonz - Actually was better live! You hear how much skill he really has ablility to rock a rhyme that's right on time, that sort of thing. Mr. Lif - Awesome. One of my all time favorites. Plus the levels were correct. He sounded dope. So - Who were your favorite rappers live? Any vids of it on youtube?

Haven't been to too many hip-hop shows, but I've seen Common, The Roots, and Living Legends.
The Roots and Common both took the state late (Common was over an hour delayed)- maybe the fault of the venue, but still detracted a bit from the show. Both killed it though. Living Legends at The Filmore in SF was excellent. No Murs- working on Murray's Revenge at the time, doing his solo **** as the LL crew said- but, bottom line, it was a kickass show. "Never fallin' down, down, down... Ever fallin' down."

Damn it I totally forgot about Twisted Insane
I'd be surprised if anyone has heard of him. He's from my home city. He comes out with a demon mask on with really eerie music playing. It pumps you up when you are there. Then he takes it off and starts rapping. Oh yea, he's dope.
