Id be less flippant if my response wouldn't be just posting what I said but saying it stupider for them. Following their train of thought we all need to go back to an 1800s dictionary and stop all this evolving nature of language nonsense that's been going on forever. It just doesn't make sense. The antiquated definition of a word doesn't negate what it means today. Saying it does is silly.

Yeah, because words are constantly evolving and they don't evolve when nazis like you demand they can only be used in one way and never change.
Also, stupider isn't a word but since I know what you meant by it I understand what you mean. That's the beauty of language. |

English language is literally the worst thing to debate since multiple words have multiple meanings. Nothing changes that. It's about having common sense. You wouldn't sit at your job and call someone a ***got because it's offensive. Imo once a word is deemed as offensive toward a group of people, probably best not to use it. Not to say there arent exceptions but that goes back to my point that debating the English language is rather monotonous. I don't think anyone here is wrong since you're basically posting the same things.

To try and redeem this conversation, I think it says a lot that this is the main controversy of the album for people. This sort of **** is all over 90s/early 00s tracks and while like No Vaseline or Ether ages well from the perspective of classic hip hop doing it now in 2018 feels dated and played out. But also Eminem hasn't released a good album in years and that's the real tragedy.

Has he ever released a great album though? All I've heard was solid spitting over mediocre or bad music.
Homophobia in hip hop goes back pretty far but it does seem like the tide is turning. I mean I love Small Talk at 125th & Lenox but this track is some ultimate cringe.
