I don't get why you think he can't do both at the same time.

Also it's supposed to sound disjointed and not flow well together that's why it's titled Berzerk.

When someone is berzerking they aren't clear and focused.

The Eminem Show is better than MMLP imo.

A few cringe moments as expected on an Eminem CD but the production has aged much better and there's less gay **** on here (Ken Kaniff, his verse on I'm Back where he's talking about his balls.)

My Dad's Gone Crazy is awful as well, forgot it was this bad.

Agree with basically all of what DJ has said in the thread.

Was 2001 a sequel? I've never considered it to be one and it's nothing like the original either.

I think it was. At least in name.

Cuban Linx 2 was also different (in terms of sound) from the original. But in both cases, the content is pretty similar.

It's cos people have labeled it a classic by default and we've all just sort of believed it (not everyone but you get what I mean, it's widely regarded as his masterpiece.)

MMLP has the better standout tracks (Stan, Kim and Criminal) but TES is better as an album. 4 utterly pointless interludes on MMLP. 3 on TES but the latter is longer and the tracks themselves are strong. My favourite tracks on TES are Sing For The Moment, Business, White America, Soldier and Superman. There are some bangers on this CD and it had the stronger singles too IMO.

EDIT - Berzerk is better than all of his first singles from all his albums since TES. Track grows on you.

Keep in mind the bar was set ridiculously low, though.

Just Lose It/Crack A Bottle/Not Afraid

IMO it's better than those three but that's like being the tallest dwarf. He still resorts to mocking celebs on this but after listening a few times nowhere near as much. This track is more interesting than the others.

Awwww if it is actually anything like MMLP then we will be on to a winner. I've actually heard he is NOT collaborating with any pop artists which is never a bad thing considering I think he mostly went downhill after he started working with these artists.

I'm not sure if its just wishful thinking but when I seen the blonde hair I was like awwwe sheeeit. Hopefully this album is going to be the best album since MMLP. Can't freaking wait.
