Eminem was my favorite artist as a kid and he still remains one of my favorites. In every song I've heard, his lyrics have been raw and pure and straight from his soul and experiences. Some of them, yes, are a little bit silly but it's all in good humor and I appreciate that in an artist because the majority of the favorites now are a lot more serious. So, Eminem is a refreshing clean slate. Plus, he's still one of the best rappers. While he doesn't compare to a lot of the classics and my intended respect where it's due, he's still one of the best.

Eminem has always been one of, if not, my favorite rapper. I would say artist in general, but Adele kind of takes my favorite artist spot.

I just love him because he is unbelievably easy to relate to. Some people say he's overexposed and that he peaked a while ago, but I don't believe that.

I think if he chooses too, he has plenty of more unique songs for us.

In a world full of terrible rappers, there is Eminem. And some others as well, but I think if anyone can truly bring rap back (as far as mainstream goes) it'll be him.

Yep. Was discussing this the other day. Eminem's fans are cult-like in their delusion at times.

I don't agree with this at all.

People just love to hate Eminem lately. It's like to cool in thing to do.

Recovery/Relaspe shows that he still has the quality of his older albums.

Recovery was pretty much a Marshall Mathers LP follow up while Relapse was more closely related to Slim Shady LP and I preferred Relapse to Recovery.

Same thing with SS vs. MM.
