Elzhis, maybe it could be because it was recorded more recently and I have listened to it more times, although the more I am listening to Nas the more I am learning the lyrics and enjoying it.
I doubt that many people who were in there teens when Illmatic came out would say they prefer Elmatic. Maybe I'm wrong though. |

I could re-record The Beatles songs with three of my mates with crisper production qualities using the technology available now as opposed to their original recordings and alter the lyrics to make them more relevant to the times and my own circumstance, but that doesn't mean I'm easily better than The Beatles.
