The Anticon Appreciation Thread (alternative, hip-hop, rap, genre, album)

Just got that Deep Puddle Dynamics LP on the strength of this thread. It's excellent. The production is a bit thick at times but no big deal. 'The Candle' and 'I Am Hip Hop (Move The Crowd)' in particular stand out on first couple of plays.

Has anyone mentioned Sage Francis in this thread? His first LP 'Personal Journals' is up with the best of the genre of the last 10 years or so. Diminishing returns with his subsequent 2 LPs but that debut is an anticon classic.
