Yea - I can't stop watching the freestyle rap class.
It got me interested in Themselves again. I like it when the anticon folks just do pure hip-hop.

No kidding, can you believe how lucky those kids are?

I've been listening to the free houdini a bit today, I downloaded it off the website so it's just own long track, but it flows perfectly. It's just a great listen all the way through, doesn't lose my attention for one second.

what dreadnaught said about Doseone being a completely different breed of human pretty much sums up the bedazzlement/envy/inspiration I get from seeing such a talented bloke in action.
Can anybody recommend an A-con album, bearing in mind that I am only very familiar with DPD and cLOUD? The discography is a minefield of albums, nobody can seem to agree on the best ones outside of Deep Puddle Dynamics....

I'd definitely recommend checking out Themselves if you're a fan of Doseone.. or get Music For The Advancement of Hip Hop, which is like one giant anticon mixtape.

I'd recommend Hymie's Basement S/T

The label released this sampler that has a little bit of all the early stuff.

The album 'Them' by Themselves is good but has low points. Their latest album sounds a lot more aggressive but I haven't listened to all of it yet. Jel's solo work is also good.

Thank you, dreadnaught, for making this thread. I've really been meaning to get into hip-hop. PM me if you have any suggestions on different artists I could check out... I know like none!

I feel the need to post in here. I adore Why? and all of the videos posted so far were fantastic. I'm especially intrigued by Doseone and cLOUDDead.
