^ so are you interpreting the song as a motivational song in general, and NOT specifically for musicians? see i didnt hear it that way. besides, why would he care whether people wanted to become botanists?
i think the song is kinda cheesy, its definitely not one of his best.

I may be ascience geek but I will most certainly not grow up to become a botanist. I may own lots of plants but I will not be a botanist.
It's undignified. Especially when you consider my talent and knowledge in the medical field.
That was just there for the sarcasm.

And I guess you could say that i see the song as something motivational in general and not as something that's pointed me and everyone else towards one particular goal.

And I like the song a lot for no apparent reason. forget the lyrics. the beat of all that. I love it. If I just listened to the beat I'd go tingly and woozy. I mean that in a laid back sorta way. I'm not even sure what i was trying to describe there so please don't ask.

^yah im a science geek too, but im studying engineering. and i agree, the song has a good beat. like i said in an earlier post, em is a good producer. he can lay a good beat.

And engineering is cool. as heck. You're talking tot he chic who built her own PS2 using sony parts.

And I did some crazy crap to it too.
