more that people should hear. most are more underground artists, some like sweatshop union, deltron 3030, atmosphere (to an extent) are a bit more mainstream.

Lupe Fiasco is very mainstream. You can walk down the street and hear groups of 12 year olds singing along to Superstar.

this is true, i forgot to add her to the list of the mainstream artists. I didn't say that all of them were underground, merely that they were all good artists to listen to if someone wanted to get an idea of what the more talented hip hop and rap artists were doing, as very few of them get any real mainstream exposure.

I've always found it irritating they get so much more popularity than The Herd and TZU, which I would much prefer to represent aussie hip hop.

But I wouldn't say they suck ass..I really enjoy my copy of The Hard Road Restrung.

im not huge on the herd or TZU as i think they are both overrated
but they are both far superior to the "i wanna be an american" styles of the hoods

Plies needs to stop rapping along with Lil' Wayne (im a hater when it comes to him), Rick Ross, 50 Cent, and others that I cant think of right now.

I guess I just dont care for 50, his flow is weak and his lyrics are garbage. True Wayne is nice, but hes played out...just my opinion.
