Who is seriously loving Dizzee's 'Bonkers' song like I am? It's like electronic rap goodness!

If I could chip my 10ps worth in , I am fed up of hearing people say "oh dizzies gone mainstream, dizzies stuff just sounds like all the other mainstream hip hop ect...".Ehm Dizzie Rascals always been mainstream, even the track "I luv u" turned mainstream.Really the only people who can say that they have heard him before Radio 1 & in the charts must have been listening to him on some London pirate stations or at a backdoor bashment in East London.Agreed he has had tracks that didnt get chart entry,GRAFTIN being one of them, but it was still on his album and getting bumped by channel U.Dont get me wrong I quite like some of his stuff but I still would not call it hip hop,and as for UKs number 1 rapper just look at people like Jehst,K-lashneckoff (terrafirma),foreign beggars, roots manuva ect...

Sorry about the whinge...I feel much better now!

I can appreciate Dizzee.. I really like "Dance wif Me" , great accent (coming from the States we really get off on that?). The beat and music to that tune are great, would almost like it better without the lyrics.

He was getting a little notice from El-P's Def Jux for a minute. That was the first I heard of him was on a free Def Jux sampler. Very different, which we need more of.

Dizzee has completely gone with the times, all that **** is on the radio nowadays - Tinie Tempah springs to mind. Thing with Dizzee is at least he gave us 2 solid albums before he went and made a fortune, fair play to him.

The guy has completely turned his back on what he started out as. I remember reading interviews with him stating that his music was from the street (he does come from a deprived background) and that he would never make commercial music that didn't mean anything.

Epic fail. His music is fricking awful now.
