I said ALMOST.
It's so bad it makes me wish Lil Wayne had balls so I could kick him in them.

Not sure why Lil' Wayne is popular. I don't hate on people who like him but the voice....it drives me insane. I don't think going rock will help him.
I know it certainly doesn't sound too good in a vocoder. Otherwise I like it.

I watched Lil Wayne perform on the new years 2009 countdown on TV and it SUCKED, it was quite possibly the worste thing Ive ever seen or heard, a good way to tell if an artist is good is to see if he/she is good live and let me say, seeing Lil Wayne do that live performance just confirmed what I already knew.

While no official word has come out yet detailing a confirmation, MTV has reported that Lil Wayne’s Rock-inspired album, Rebirth, will not be coming out on May 19th. A label spokesperson, who spoke with MTV News, said that the album’s release date is now “TBD.”
Industry rumors swirled that Rebirth’s first single “Prom Queen” was not receiving the predicted buzz to push enough sales come release day. With over a month in radio rotation, “Prom Queen” has peaked at #15 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Likewise, Rolling Stone reportedly got a sneak peek of a handful of tracks from Rebirth. While the magazines words were more or less positive, Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant was quoted as saying, “He’s still trying to give me tracks,” implying that the album is still not set in stone.
This has not been the first time Lil Wayne’s Rebirth got pushed back. The album was originally supposed to drop April 7th, but on February 19th, Wayne explained to MTV that his Rock-manifested album would come out May 19th. Currently, only the “Prom Queen” single and music video have been released to promote Rebirth.

There is a God.

^^ let's hope it's never unleashed on an already-braindead public

I was watching videos a 'a milli' freestyles and came across his new single, what a crock of sh*t. I just don't have the words right now. I'm choked with rage and disbelief at how low the big 5 will sink to line their pockets... again

Lil' Wayne... We should have seen this coming... HE'S TERRIBLE IN EVERY WAY

anyway can't wait for him to get back to those crunked-up bangers and that sublime lyrical inspiration that he's so famous for

the man has the opportunity to say something and have tens of thousands of people at a time listen... and he decides to inflict what he learned in his pre-school guitar lessons on them... 'waitwait i can get it...'

As for his vocation, which is contemporary commercial club hip-hop, that's a style that i'm 90% indifferent to for so many reasons... do i have to lay it all out?
Lil' Wayne, when I hear him I just hear air, this contrived 'new hip-hop entrepeneur' market-branding bullsh*t, this illusion that him or Jay-Z are black men with power (as opposed to meaningless celebrity and fleeting material riches) annoys me.

Go onto any Weezy youtube video and take your pic of the racist slander on there, if I was him I'd be writing an album for these f*ckers - millions of people would buy it, I'd make alot of money and I would make people think and maybe get some respect.

Shouldn't drag Jay-Z into it because he did make good music at one time and is/was a good wordsmith, but I guess I have a knee-jerk reaction when it comes to whole careers built entirely on self-aggrandizement.

You know what I like some dirty south hip-hop, Geto Boys or whatever, I'm far from an expert though, someone should do a mix .
