I second Thaddeus. Him and his auto-tuner...He's too ubiquitous and too exposed. Him, Kanye and Rihanna need to disappear for a little while. I mean, I say that, but then again...anybody seen Usher around lately? He took a break after Confessions and then Here I Stand came out. Did anybody notice? Nope. But I digress...
It is sad to see Wayne on auto-pilot. Tha Carter 3 had some ingenius lyrics and sounds. Oh well. He'll make like 10 million a year from guest tracks alone and be happy. And as long as people request his songs on the radio and watch his videos, who cares? A question to you people out in the forum world: Anybody else ever been as ubiquitous as Wayne is right now? I don't just mean how popular, but the number of different songs and artists he's linked to in popularity. Meaning, lets say Elvis or Michael Jackson or even the Beatles have more over all hits. But none of them crossed over through so many genres and guested with so many people. Lil Wayne made a KEVIN RUDOLPH song a hit! Kevin Rudolph. Who the hell is Kevin Rudolph and what does he contribute? |

Exactly! And I'm sorry, but Love in This Club was NOT a ubiquitous song like Lollipop, Let It Rock, Can't Believe It or, to a much lesser extent, Pop Bottles. Those are just the obvious examples which come to mind. What about Usher? Oh right, Usher guested rather effectively on T.I.'s "My Life Your Entertainment"

TPain. He was everywhere and in every hit song for a period of time. Using his ****ing autotune and singing choruses. If it were up to me every hiphop chorus would just be done by Nate Dogg.
