I listen to Dre for his rapping. He has such a commanding presence to me. Never been super into his beats.

All the 3 are actually great rappers. But in terms of rapping ability and performance I'd say Ice Cube is the best out of the 3. Eazy-E died and Dr. Dre doesnt really release anything new anymore, so.

Me having voted for the fourth option a while back shows how my ignorance has changed about rap, but Dre for sure, all of his collaborations end up being the tightest thing I ever heard, Ice solo is pretty good too.

What did you guys think of Eazy's debut album?

They're laughing at you though. Because Dre's rapping sucks compared to his production. He's just not a very good rapper.

I know they are (maybe assuming I was joking) and I never said he was a great rapper, but I do enjoy his rapping at times. Not a massive "golden age" or "west coast" Hip Hop fan and his beats are not really that interesting for me. Certain tracks are nice of course.

Yeah, I assumed you were joking.

For the record, I don't hate Dre's rapping. I think it works fine in the context of his songs, it's just not the stand-out attribute of his music for me.
