my vote = ghost.

Well-said.

I always liked Ghostface the most. Although a lot of times i dont know what the hell he's talkin about .. it just sounds ill.

2nd Meth.

Voted for Masta Killah cause nobody voted for the poor bastard.

Jester 05-10-2010 08:51 PM

His solo album No Said Date is pretty good.

telepicker 05-11-2010 06:23 AM

Iron Man was a great rapper, and technically, Ghost, GZA, and Kwon were the "real" MCs of the bunch...

But Meth and ODB were the heart...they brought the personality.

In my opinion, Meth really has had a varied and successful solo career - Tical, Tical 2000, and Blackout!! were all awesome as ****...

And Dirty really only had three turns; the two Wu-Tang records he was really there for, and the Return to the 36 Chambers...

But Return was SO dirty, I still haven't heard anything quite like it.

My vote goes to Dirty - maybe not "the best", but certainly the most distinctive.

"Dirty; I keeps sh*t stains in my draws
so I can gets fizza-funky for y'all!"

You'll be presently surprised.

I voted for Ghost, but nearly every member (save U-God) is great, and for totally different reasons.

U-God isn't actually bad just looks bad compared to the rest.

Dirty 10-18-2010 11:26 PM

I'll go with Meth. Meth and Rae are above the rest of them in my opinion. Just love their voices and their flows. I saw Method with Redman live and could not have been more blown away or impressed. Especially since he was performing at a small club in a mainly white college town (Penn State).. Still brough crazy intensity and totally owned the crowd.

You have to love ODB, he has a strange voice but paved the way for new artists with diffrent rhyme styles and voices like lil wayne. That and hes insane.

ThePhanastasio 10-22-2010 01:14 PM

While I'm for sure down with Ghostface Killah, Method Man, GZA, and RZA, ODB will always be my favorite - he's the first rapper I ever got into.

James 10-22-2010 01:23 PM

I voted GZA, but now i'd probs vote Meth, ODB or Ghostface.

If every U-God verse sounded like his intro on Da Mystery of Chessboxin I'd count myself as a fan. He's got awesome potential with the voice but doesn't seem to do much with it.

Other than that, gotta go with Ol' Dirt Mcgirt, cause he ain't got no father to his style.

Dirty 10-23-2010 05:45 PM

I've been listening to a lot of ODB lately... Startin to dig him more.. Just a crazy style, he was one of the realest people out there. If you look up some of his interviews they are just hilarious. He's crazy and awesome, but most of all real, and I'm starting to like him more as a rapper.

Here's my rankings of the Wu

1) Method Man
2) Raekwon
3) GZA
4) Deck
5) ODB
6) Ghostface
7) RZA
8) U-God
9) Masta Killa

WooferWolf 10-23-2010 08:45 PM

ODB is so the ****. Though, Methodman is amazing also. Still, GZAs voice just rolls...

sleepy jack 01-04-2011 12:52 PM

GZA, obviously.

Kirby 01-04-2011 08:53 PM

Method, RZA, and ODB are my three favorites from the group.

Therecanolybeone 01-05-2011 07:11 PM

Round them off to the nearest third the.. The GZA

TheRavenEffect 01-07-2011 06:08 PM

How did Rae only get 8 votes... blasphemy

xmattx1310 03-09-2011 02:16 PM

inspectah?

nobody is showin love for my man deck....hes got maybe he best lyrical ability of the wu and hes got some of the best hip hop verses ever in songs like Triumph, Bring Da Ruckus, C.R.E.A.M., Protect Ya Neck. his solo albums didnt get as much love as thought but deck is nasty and one of the most underrated rappers ever. When people think of the Wu-Tang Clan they think of meth, gza, ghost. If u listen to deck's lyrics u will see how amazing he is.

Raust 03-10-2011 10:05 AM

Ghostface, his new album is great.

mannny 03-12-2011 12:44 AM

Inspectah Deck. i'm saying technically hands down best flow/rhymes. but I gotta give my love to the GZA and Ghostface.

That first verse is incredible.

jameshenry 07-26-2023 05:32 AM

Raekwon, Ghostface and Method Man made the best albums, but Deck is my favourite MC.
