Talib's verse from BlackStar - Hater Players.

Yes..
Every day somebody ask me where all the real mc's is at?
They underground
There's mad talented cats underground with that raw ****
Yaknowwhat'msayin? bringin them raw skills
Yaknowwhati'm sayin?
Really, to me..

It's a small wonder, like vicki, why I'm picky
These niggas suck like hickies
And still get the **** they slip in like mickies
I'm sick of the hater-players, bring on the regulators
With the flavors like a farm team ****ing with the majors
Like a river how I run through it, I do it so cold
Freezin up your bodily fluids, your style is old
You runnin your mouth, but don't really know what you be talkin about
You should retire, get that complimentary watch, be out!
Yo, with the quickness, so swift you miss this lyrical fitness
Now get this, these emcees wanna test me like litmus, bear witness
I'm like shot clocks, interstate cops, and blood clots
My point is, your flow can stop!
By all means, you need more practice, take that ass home
Everybody lookin at you, fish tank syndrome
In full effect, I stay catchin lyrical rep
And keep it blacker than the back of your neck
What you expect, that ****'s hollerin
Cause we developin the followin
Gettin played like stone love tapes and dollar vans
Order reverse your universe so your demise is first
Before your rise it gets worse
You need a night nurse like gregory
Beggin me - stop it hurts! - is what you say to me
Like that's supposed to mean somethin?
You the one I seen frontin in the club
Your act I don't buy it, I got the dub

A-Plus

It's not a wrong thing
to be addicted to the microphone like a heroin fiend
I'll tell you one thing:
You'll never catch me fronting
As I proceed to give the people what they wanting
You're making some green...
But not for drama or fashion
I'm stacking cash until I can get Moms a mansion
All from rapping?
Nah, man, there's many plans
Like investing in land
It started all from impressing the fans
With brand new flows
And you know
All the way from gangsta clones to weirdos
Fools used those
But we ain't tripping
Give respect when you see this
You need us,
or your raps underdevelop like a fetus

Pep Love

Those that know not doze
And it shows
When we broke out the knock
Hos hopped out they clothes
That's positive feedback
Yep, The Prose
I'm poised, we never pose, you'll never know
>From '93 til infinity we've been inventive
Creating the bump is our only incentive
And it's been a long time since I feel I've been felt
But the only thing I fear is fear itself
So you know what we gots to do
Maybe could we keep it within the crew
Like it should be?
Never givin' out
We're livin' out our dreams
If there's something I can't live without,
That's my team
You never knew...

Phesto

Hieroglyphics
Hip-hop is vintage
Underground like silos
Launching long-range ballistics
World-renowned, we ground-breaking
Musical boundaries
Runnin' circles around emcees

Del

Del -- been rhyming for more than a decade
Onto the next stage, while emcees need aid
Stay paid, I'm still grade-A
None of that tomfoolery
As you can see this **** ain't nothing new to me
Utterly hovering over other things material
You're stuck in the here and now
Plus you're sweating profusely -- here's a towel
Your fears are now reality
When I take your dream states
And elaborate on how your team's fake
With phony IDs, but sometimes I feel like
Only I see through the charade you've made
In today, but hey, tomorrow it's played
And then they got a new fool in your place to be okayed

Phesto

Hieroglyphics
Hip-hop is vintage
Invented in days back
Rekindling in ways that many thought was lost
In this contemporary maze of methods to floss
We finding trees and trails to blaze
Boundaries to cross
We can be found beyond the bounds of reason
Or earthbound, heatin' up the Coliseum

Opio

They rushed the stage full-throttle in Chicago
Our brains interlocked
Where fakin' emcees get caught with the 40-bottle
Or get their chains snatched, pronto
We unstoppable, droppin' flows in Toronto
Maneuverin' through Vancouver and on to Japan
where they put major grands in my hand
Follow?

Phesto

Straight from the heart we set apart from the rest an'
Our perfection on the microphone was predestined
World-renowned, we ground-breaking
Musical boundaries
Runnin' circles around emcees

This is such a dope verse. It's groundbreaking in a lot of ways.

Rebecca Black- "It's Friday"

"R-B, Rebecca Black
So chillin’ in the front seat (In the front seat)
In the back seat (In the back seat)
I’m drivin’, cruisin’ (Yeah, yeah)
Fast lanes, switchin’ lanes
Wit’ a car up on my side (Woo!)
(C’mon) Passin’ by is a school bus in front of me
Makes tick tock, tick tock, wanna scream
Check my time, it’s Friday, it’s a weekend
We gonna have fun, c’mon, c’mon, y’all"

From the day that I saw you
I knew that we would pursue
Cause the chemistry
we felt that day
Felt so real, and so true
Looking back on a year
we spent together
How it’s been, what
we went through
Although we’ve had our
little ups and downs
We’ve still pulled through

Baby girl you’re my
world my everything
I wanna lace you with
diamonds and every ring
Give you everything you
dream and fantasize
Cause you can tell me
that you love me
Looking in my eyes
You keep it real with me,
I keep it real with you
You keep on loving me,
I’ll keep on loving you
Keep doing what you do,
I feel your whole aura
And I can’t wait to hook up
again tomorrow baby - what

Those two lines are seriously amazing, they're going to change the art of song writing.

It's like the ghetto's got a heart and a soul, a mind of it's own
A hunger for a young cat to die 'fore he grown
A lust for a young girl to slide down a pole
She's always fallin' short on her goals

The street life is cold, it's either win or lose or you fold
Money is the root to all evils what I was told
When everything you thought you'd believed in was a hoax
You put your faith in front of those demons

And when the smoke clears, the truth appear
The fight for your life, the struggles of a wrong versus right
And wrong won, a song sung in the keys of reality
When death crosses your path, blood shed tragically

So automatically you come to a close and realize
That no matter what we key to the codes
I seen the hood swallow mutha****as whole
And **** em' out in the system, they ain't never make it home, that I know

Couldn't agree more, I feel like Del is usually the weakest on most Hiero songs for some reason. He's got a few really ill tracks (If You Must, Cyberpunks, You Never Knew), but for the most part he's overshadowed by the rest of the crew.
