Yeah I'm with matious on this one, 3030's a great album but better than Madvillain? I'm not a huge fan of Del outside of that one album, his stuff is good, but I really enjoy everything from DOOM and all his side projects... I would say he has quite a few albums I would consider great, not just above average, and I would rank in the very least both Madvillain and Operation Doomsday higher than 3030.

That's where the argument's subjective head roars. I think 3030>Madvillainy, and that's no disrespect meant to DOOM. That's still puttin up Madvillainy in the top 10. But I put 3030 in top 3. Probably #3 and #2 on a great day. 3030 was the first hip-hop album I ever listened to, besides funky rap-rock like Chili Peppers and Powerman 5000.

Also, I hold 3030 very close because I feel part of his futuristic space world. I really got entrenched in his whole album.

I got a new take on this argument:

Which Paul Barman feature is better, Meet Cleofis Randolph the Patriarch from 3030 or Hot Guacamole from Mm.. Leftovers?

By the way, I think Mm.. Food is better than Madvillainy

It's basically 3030 VS all of MFs stuff for me. I don't dig Del outside of 3030. And I like 3030 more than any Doom stuff, but I like Doom more overall. More quality stuff out there and honestly 3030 has really wore on me. I still really like it but it's not a top 5 favorite like it used to be.

Del has other great albums, besides Deltron, but Deltron is the pinnacle.

The beginning and end of Mm.. Food are amazing and may be close to on par with Madvillainy but the instrumentals in the middle just kill me. Madvillainy has long interludes of instrumentals as well but I think they just flow so much better. It's always an album that I listen to all the way through. I almost never do that with Mm.. Food.
