Default Flatbush Zombies

Flatbush Zombies is an American hip hop group from Flatbush, Brooklyn, formed in 2010. The group is composed of rappers Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick "Arc" Elliott, the latter of whom also serves as their regular producer. They are part of a East Coast hip hop movement known as "Beast Coast", that was spearheaded by fellow Brooklyn-based rapper Joey Bada$$ and his respective hip hop group Pro Era.

A little blurb from wiki.

Thoughts? Has anyone listened to either one of their mixtapes?

I listened to their latest mixtape and couldn't get into it at all. Production can be pretty solid but I wasn't feeling any of the emcees at all. They've got a decent amount of hype though. I know a lot of people like them.

^I like those 3 songs posted quite a bit. Haven't heard anything else by them yet.

They've got a real classy look and Olde English 800 is probably my favorite malt liquor so I feel a certain kinship with them. I'll give these guys a proper listen.

Which stoner rap do you speak of? Really I've been pretty out of the loop with hip hop recently. I guess it's just the pendulum's spot.

Like I said, I don't listen to enough of what's considered "beast coast" (I think it's A$AP Mob, Pro Era who i don't listen to at all, The Underachievers who i really can't say i know), but the hype is really killing it for me, which probably isn't fair (blame the media). But from what I can tell, most of it is stoner stuff, but I'd rather go to Spaceghost or LUM for practically the same stuff.

I love Flatbush, one of my favorite groups right now. Meechy is a beast!
