Been listening to this guy more. His influence on modern alt rap is pretty apparent, with viktor vaughn and odd future coming to mind immediately.

I wonder why he doesn't get recognized with the like of del or mf doom.

I don't know, I always thought he was pretty well recognized, especially among that crowd. I actually heard of him long before I heard of Del or MF Doom.
