You don't need to explain yourself, it's not being racist... it's just making an obvious observation.
Black people can't have it both ways... if they hate that word so much then they should stay as far away from it as possible and stop using it as a term of endearment. That's like going up to your boy and saying "what's up you stupid no good piece of dog ****" every time you see him. I think most of the black community felt if they use it a lot to each other then it would make it seem like they were claiming it as their own in turn defusing the negativity of the word. I think it makes them look stupid but what do I know... I never had to feel the pain of being called that word. I do know the word is meant to degrade and put down... you can't change the meaning of a word just by using it with a pat on the back and a smile.
NAS has his reasons for naming his album "******", unfortunately shock value and dollar signs are probably high on that list of reasons.
