I told you, if I called Zack de la Rocha "the best white rapper" to his face he'd beat my fucking head in.

The point is there are SO many white rappers more gifted than Eminem yet he receives so much praise because he rapped about trailer trash shit. It's not fair to rappers like Aesop, where because they're not as well known in mainstream music that they are doomed to obscurity.

Gotta go with: MC Serch, Prime Minister Pete Nice, and DJ Daddy Rich=

might think im wack for this but personally i think everlast is a little underrated, especially when he was with House of Pain. so he gets my vote.

I can't believe The Beastie Boys are getting beaten by Eminem. Faaaaack.

I do enjoy the Beasties but they have slipped in recent years... plus imo most of their material doesn't age very well (cheese).

Lol, breaks the analogue.

I hear what you are saying, I think most if not all rappers are guilty of this though. There are only so many words you can use that rhyme with one another in the English language. Also, I think the forced sound is just Zack's style... he's trying to force the knowledge into your head from the speakers :p:.

I voted Brother Ali but completely forgot about Vinnie Paz. It's close anyway - I love Vinnie's flow and intensity even though his lyrical content isn't always that interesting, whereas Ali has more interesting stuff to say. I think Vinnie just edges it. I just love MC's like that.

Even though I haven't really heard that much Eminem stuff he is an amazing MC, despite what many people say. And as for the Beastie Boys, I really love them. But as MC's? Not so much.

aesop isn't having that hard of a time. His latest album debuted 50 on the billboard charts, and for a while mtv was promoting him. Even saw him interviewed on vh1.

Of course he's not as popular as eminem, but he certainly isn't starving anymore.

ProggyMan 07-19-2008 02:54 PM

It only to 50 I think matious.
