Really? It's suggesting the irrationality behind religions placing faith above everything else. If your cross is bigger than your pistol, then it's okay to kill--god will forgive you if you have faith. I think he's criticizing religion eloquently.

^ Pshhh... Ninja Rap was the hot shit...

Speaking of Vanilla Ice, a friend and I were walking around in the French Quarter in New Orleans circa 97' or so, and some chick was handing out flyers for a free show. We looked at it and guess who was having a show right down the street in a crap club? Yes. Him. We decided to go so we could have something to make fun of but when we got there... there was probably a total of 12 people. It was sad. We left feeling like we just beat up a crippled kid.

Haha - did you watch any of his show? Wasn't that when he tried to make a comeback with dreadlocks?
Anyway, I do have a certain amount of respect for Mr. Ice. Not for his music but because he seems smart (for an industry tool). I saw some documentary on him where it's revealed that he didn't waste the billions of dollars that Ice, Ice baby generated on strippers and blow but instead invested smartly and has been living the high life ever since.

edit: Damn, I've got to stop bumping this thread. Eminem gets a new vote every time

Aesop Rock. I'm pretty sure why he's the optimal choice has already been said to death, so I won't even bother.

That stream-of-consciousness style revolves around imagery and textured alliteration; Aesop Rock knows what he's doing.

But if no-one else does, what's the point? That is a perfect example of Aesop saying nothing in particular in the most roundabout way possible.
