I'll agree Aesop's voice is much more commanding and memorable than Em's.. that's not even a fair comparison. Aesop's whole trademark is a voice that sounds like it's been subjected to years and years of whiskey and cigarette abuse.

And with Eminem, he's got some 12 year old sounding songs I'll agree, but then he has a "kim" where you realize that he probably is as crazy as some of the songs he does. "The Way I Am", etc.

I definitely prefer Aesops voice, though it does sound forced a lot. His lyrics are a little too absurd i agree, especially with some of the more recent stuff.
But i'm surprised you disliked Bazooka tooth the most Alejo, it has the most straightforward rhymes of any aesop album. Eminem seems to regurgitate the same material over and over though. At least on the Relapse, he talks about ****ing lesbians in at least 4 of the songs. |

Bazooka Tooth was AWFUL. I wouldn't say I'm a huge Ace fan, but I do dig most of his work. That album was horrible though. I don't even remember why I don't like it. Just that I didn't bang my head once and all his lyrics seemed like he was bragging about something, and I remember being mad I wasted my eighteen bucks.

BT just never caught on with me. Maybe I'll listen to it later, but I distinctly remember hating it.
And for those arguing Aesop, I'd argue this guy is #2 [behind Eminem Bane ha] YouTube - Zion I - Caged Bird Pt. 1 (feat. Brother Ali) Ali is the second guy on. I'd probably put Slug before Aesop, too.

OK, I think I have someone who's a contender against Em, and has an even more 12 year old sounding voice:
mc chris. Dude can spit, he can tell a story, and he's funny as hell.
