Everlast as a rapper > Everlast as a singer [excluding What It's Like]

I think Evidence is one of the best white rappers, possibly even the best.

I like Aesop a lot but labelmate El-P seems so much better in comparison. I'll Sleep When You're Dead is fantastic.

And a grown ass man shall abide as he wish, walk that path with a dime and a stick, walk that path with a diamond and wine, walk that path to the firing line, just walk, walk, pay no mind to the new recruit with the playdo spine...

Default Hmmmm

I stumbled across this site accidentally...and started checking it out. Personally I think it's crazy that people who listen to Eminem and Beast(er) Boys, have even been exposed to such great underground artists such as Aesop, Eyedea, Sage, and etc.

I grew up listening to all that booty gangster rap crap, and then found out about the underground and never looked back. I cant believe the majority of u guys think Eminem is so great. His talent stopped at Infinite....and for anyone who thinks that album sucks, and anything after that of his is better...ur nutso.

Just listen to it. The lyrics are damn good....its a lot easier to come up with psycho raps about killin ur baby mama while coked out, then it is to actually think of something intelligent to say, but also rhyme at the same time. He quit being intelligent (mostly) after Infinite.

Anyways holy moly im ranting...But personally i think Id have to name mr Oliver Hart, Eyedea as my favorite. Even though lately ive been listening to nothing but Aesop, and Doseone, Sole, and other anticon/defjux artists.

Anyone else who likes Eyedea, make sure u check out his band Carbon Carousel. Its nothing like his hip hop, but its the same great person making great music in a different way.

"And now they sleep in the same bed, with guns drawn to each other's heads.
dead to romance, dead to romance, boiling the blood that painted roses read"-Eyedea

"Life aint a bitch, life is a beautiful woman.
You only call her a bitch, cause she wont let u get that pussy.
Maybe she feel's yall didnt share any similar interests.
Or maybe ur just an ******* who couldnt sweet talk the princess"-Aesop Rock

"I Stay regardless, I know this time's a fright.
we may have been born yesterday friends, but we stayed up all night."-El-Producto
