That is the truth.

His lyrics are about as good as you can get.

Hell, I don't listen to much rap/hip-hop anyways.

I was just voting Eminem because he's the best of the ones I know. And actually I was somewhat surprised crap like Classified wasn't listed either.

Anyways, I don't care. For the ones quoting every post I make, it's just because of my Hilary thread and everyone made a big deal out of nothing and jumped to conclusions.

I want to hunt down whoever voted for Paul Wall and Kid Rock.

Hell, half the reason I put Aesop above artists like Sage Francis is because of his voice. It's so distinct.

Haha, Yeah, I know what you mean.

But a majority of the people I show Aesop Rock, usually respond with "He's god dope lyrics, and decent flow, but I can't get passed his voice."

Positive Attitude are a great white rap duo too. They're pretty underground, but if you can find something by them, it's better then half of this list.

Agreed. I love his production and lyrics, but his cadence and super dense flow let him down a little bit. Having said that I still voted for him, although Jedi Mind Tricks are good too. As is Eminem, who has a great delivery and so so lyrics.

Hilltop Hoods and The Herd are up there as well, but for some reason I don't put aussie hip hop in the same category in my mind.

Yeah, I love Eminem, but if I hear "I just drank a fifth of vodka, dare me to drive?" one more time, someone's getting bitch-slapped.

EDIT: This is why I love Eyedea, and why he's better than Eminem for sure.
