Of the one's I have heard the full way through:
Reasonable Doubt/ Black album tied for 1st Both were instant classics but for different reasons: Reasonable Doubt was a like a window into the world of a hustler but it wasn't a glorification of what Jay-z did in his past it was more of a reflection and the Black Album was great because of the production, it was perfect for Jay. It's one of those albums that makes you feel something. After those two it's Blueprint which I don't seem to appreciate as much as everyone else does. And then Kingdom Come which was just bad. |

For real mate? It sounded a bit stale in my opinion, as if Jay's was just like, "Hey, let's make some beats. Hey, let's make some lyrics for these beats. Hey, we have lyrics and beats let's call it an album." Just kind of thrown together. |
