Andre 3000 is a genious. He broke down SO many musical barriers with The Love Below its astounding. I have been listening to that album constantly since Christmas and have not gotten tired of it!! I also liked Big Boi's Solo, but I felt it was still too gangster. Thats the only genre of music I dont like. Its too dry and unoriginal. Dre's cd contains Jazz, Funk, Rap, Hip-Hop, plus the electronic sounding 'Vibrate'. That song is so consious. I absolutley love it. After listening to an album, you cant not appreciate OutKast.

I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan of Outkast but I do absolutely respect them musically and do enjoy listening to them. I love the way they weave different genres of music such as funk and hip hop into a style so completely their own. And um I don't think listening to them means you'll miss out on "real" music...they ARE real music. Taste is subjective and I think opening yourself up to a variety of genres makes you a more complex appreciator of music. You don't have to like everything but like Rockafella stated before making statements such as "I hate this band" without any real reason why is pretty pointless if you ask me.
