Violence has always been around with music.
Teddy boys in the 50s Mods & rockers in the 60s Bikers & skinheads in the 70s & 80s Rap is just something those people pick up on.

Honestly, if these mates of mine listened to rock music they wouldn't be the same way. They speak the way the rappers speak, walk the way the rappers walk. I love rap but it's just these stupid kids who take it to far that I don't like.

Jesus walks is a great song but after hearing alot of kayne its not exactly that kid friendly. Especially over say, jammx or lil bow wow, although i'd take jammx over lil bow wow any day because their message is much stronger.

The ONLY Kanye West Thread
I just read this great interview with Kanye West talking about his loss at the Grammy’s, his current project with Common, and what the future holds for this king of hip hop. This is a must read for any Kanye fan…I ain’t sayin he’s a gold digger.

Kanye West is a very talented artist. Sadly, I no longer respect him because he is now an *******!!!

I couldn't care less what Kanye West has to say about anything, really. He's not that talented. I said in another thread that the term, "overrated", is thrown around a bit too loosely these days, but I can honestly say that Kanye West is drastically overrated.
