your subject matter is not what makes you pop, maybe in an ideal world but not in this one

one thing that came to me the other day in regards to the difference (and similarity) between 50 & Kanye, is the fact they still manage to portray lifestyles away from their new found success

i.e. Kanye makes 'everyman rap' regardless of bein a superstar, and 50 makes 'gangster rap' regardless of bein a superstar

they're both god at what they do, but my first point still stands... 50 is stale right now, Kanye isn't

i stick with Kanye for now, and await 'before i self destruct' to see if 50 is actually on to something, or jus doin his usual hype man thing to push a product

They both suck. Kanye is better but he's such a tool. He has thrown a ****ing fit at 2 award shows, and said the president hates black people on national tv... even P DIDDY isnt that ****ing stupid.

They're both criminals, although 50 Cents is the worst one (why isn't he in jail?). Kayne also spoke out against the homophobia in the rap industry, which earns him a lot of respect.

I never said he was a serious villain. Hell, most of the musicians I like have committed crimes far worse than this. It's just that people I've been discussing with about this have held Kanye as something of a saint in the rap industry, when clearly he's not. Hopefully this will bring them down to earth a bit.
