I like lil wayne but he isn't all that great. All he does is whore himself on everyone's tracks. I'm getting kinda sick of seeing him frankly.

my personal favourite is Aesop, his lyrics are amazingly vivid, abstract and generally excellent whilst i love his execution.

I personally don't think there is a best but i do think that akon or eminem would probably be in my top 5 for rappers.
