Yeah, I'd actually go as far saying I think it's their best album.

^ i think this is what makes the B-Boys so great, they've got enough diversity through their catalog that just about anyone can find a disc that they really identify with.

It sounds really dated to me and although it got them recognition and a wider audience I feel that it gave a false impression of what they were actually about. There are a couple of good tracks on it but it's no Ill Communication in my eyes.

What has to be borne in mind was that the Beasties didn't exactly have a lot of say in Licensed to Ill, it was very much Rick Rubin's baby. And yeah, it isn't very good, especially compared to Paul's Boutique and Ill Communication.

i love Licensed to Ill as much as the next white person, but i do agree that Paul's Boutique is a good amount better. I like it a lot more overall, in beats, lyrics, and whatever else i could like it for.

Since the clean version of their album got leaked, They decided to let everyone listen to the dirty version for free on their site BEASTIE BOYS HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE PART TWO

I am liking this a lot. Its pretty funky sounding and its a little weird, but the beats are fresh and its pretty solid. I gotta give it another listen though. I am probably going to pick this one up on May 3rd

Does anyone have final copy yet? I'm having a hard time finding it. Ironically enough, I didn't realize they had a new album coming out. I found out while downloading their discography.
