whether he's Viktor Vaughn, Madvillain, Danger Doom, MF DOOM, etc. Daniel Dumile is always keeping it real. Madvillainy and The Mouse and the Mask are both some of my favorite hip hop albums ever. if you're interested, check out the video for All Caps on youtube. that has to be my favorite tune by him.

Oh my god, yes.
Sitek + DOOM = music is alive and well in the 2010s.
Goes to show ya, never assume anything. I mean, who would have thought that a small imprint (Lex) of an underground UK label (Warp) would make music exciting again a decade after its inception?

I'd never heard of them before, the only artist i recognize on their wiki is Doseone. Are they worth looking into?

Well, I think you don't like Sage Francis but he came up on Lex (you might check out his group Non-Prophets if you haven't - you might like them and Lex released their ****).
Also, Boom Bip is good. Some of his instrumental stuff was released by Lex.

edit: also that Doom/radiohead song comes to us courtesy of Lex

DOOM is much tighter on that track than on Retarded Fren. Love the bass on that beat as well.

DOOM made Retrarded Fren just as good as the beatmakers did. He's been a talented major player longer than Radiohead, Lex Records, and Dave Sitek. I, for one, respect Mr. Dumile more than I respect any of them.
