Jesus, I'm listening to The Psycho-social, Chemical, Biological, And Electro-magnetic Manipulation Of Human Consiousness and I don't think there is a more intelligent hip hop album out today. It's seemless.

Violent By Design = the awesome 36 Chambers follow-up that the Wu-Tang never made.

Agreed. I have been listening to a lot of Hip Hop these past few days and this album is excellent. Also been listening to Mos Def's 'New Danger' which is a belter too.

Vinnie Paz daddy! lol Vinnie Paz is sick with the wordplay, and Stoupe The Enemy of Mankind def. holds it down. Not really feelin the AOTP though. AOTP has top emcees but they dont work very well as a group. Jedi Mind need to bring back Jus Allah (he preys on the minds of the young.)

Default JMT and Jus Allah

There isnt a rap artist out there who can top Jedi Mind Tricks, except Jus Allah the black God. Simply tha best. I've been listening to them for about a year now, and before i started i was a pretty versatile listener, from UK's Terra Firma or Klashnekoff to one of New York's greatest MCs Immortal Technique. Now i listen to nothing but JMT. The lyrics are ginuwinely extraordinary and just flat out smart yo. peep DAT Sh!t

The guy they mention in Before The Great Collapse, "P", is this crazy druggie who used to work at Pete's, I don't think he'll ever have kids...

There is some brilliant rap "love songs" out there but you're probably thinking of mainstream crap. Then again what defines a love song? I'd say that Eminem's "Kim" is a love song. I'd say cuban links "letter to pun" is a love song. But neither are traditional/stereotypical love songs. Does a love song have to be about your love for a woman/your partner. Can it be about your love for a culture, love for your family, your friends, your fans. Is tupacs "dear mama" or Nas "dance" a love song? It's quite a subjective topic really.

Anyway, as for JMT. They're dope. One of the few american rappers I still listen to. Although I agree their beats aren't exactly made for the mainstream but who cares? I still like most of them. Uncommon Valor was a dope track but the rugged man outshined paz by lightyears.
