Immortal Technique
I am looking for anyone similar to Immortal Technique. He is one of the best lyricist I have heard recently and I was hoping someone knows of other somewhat underground rappers with a sound like Immortal Technique, Nas, Biggie, Pac, Luda, Wu, or the old Mobb Deep (u know, quiet storm, shook ones, get away) the good stuff. Holla at me with some advice. I'm always looking to find more talented musicians. Thanks to anyone with advice

Man
You must be the only person on this planet who knows more music than I do. I thought I was doing good with the extensive knowledge I have of all music categories but you have obviously surpassed me. Who knows. Maybe there is music I know that you don't. It's great to see a kindred spirit who thrives off of the passion that music can create . Thank you.

as for music that sounds like immortal tech, sage francis doesn't sound one thing like him, listen to jedi mind tricks or dead prez. what you want is hardcore hip hop, sage francis is artsy sh*t for people who don't like rap

False. He's socially conscious, white, and has better flow than many rappers. I listen to most of the Wu-Tang clan solo albums. The best to be is GZA's Liquid Swords. But comparing IT to anyone is kinda stupid. The man has a one-of-a-kind diction and delivery

i don't understand how wut i said was false since:
1. i inever said he wasnt socially conscious 2. i never said he wasn't white 3. i also never said his flow wasn't better then many rappers. having a flow better than many rappers doesnt mean much since, many rappers have terrible flow. a mediocre flow is better then many rappers. as for technique not being able to be compared to, i agree. tech is dope, his music is fresh and he even makes talented underground rappers look wack! but for music dat sounds like his i would say the closest is jmt and dead prez. he is often compared (sound wise) to each of them |

considering I grew up on rap
It's going to be tough for you guys to come up with anyone I haven't heard. Jedi is tight, Prez is dope as hell, Wu-Tang is one of the Gods of rap. Liquid Swprds is a classic. And yes, Crowquill has recommended much music to me in other genre's. I was referring to the fact that he was recommending rap music as well. He knows a lot of different types of music and I think that's cool as hell. I am really looking for some underground stuff, Tech is fairly unknown especially in smaller cities where I live and I am looking for people like that. Thanks again guys
