Yeah, new single is dope. My favorite contribution from Matthew Santos to date. Tribute to pops. I'm more and more excited for this album.

That hook is oh so sweet, and the production is pretty good too. But this is from only two listens so I'm not sure how much lasting power it will have if it's that immediate.

Lyrically it is a bit scattered, but he's got some good lines in here and there.

I love the "The Die" i think that's what got me hooked on him, but my friend introduced me to "Fighters" and now that's my fav song by him. Matthew Santos's voice is the best.

I like the new single "shining down" just from hearing the beat. I see he's gettin' into the voice vocoder thing.

I thought the lyrics were the best part of the song. Holy ****, he has some good stuff in there. Really good.

It took awhile for me to get used to the beat though. I hate Santos, which is why I disliked Superstar. The beat is different on this song too. Now I am just addicted to the song.

If you paid attention to his lyrics you'd hear that he was dissing the vocoder....it's the popular "in" thing to do nowadays.

Give me a line, nothing struck me as particularly brilliant. I did miss a few references though.

I like Lupe, much better than Kanye if I am to listen to that kind of style of rap.

Second single out. Just saw that Lupe turned his finished album into Atlantic Records for their review... Which means it's finally on the way to hitting shelves. "Shining Down" was good, and now "I'm Beamin" is realllllly growing on me. Lasers!

What the hell? I was watching some early morning music TV and a Lupe song came, which got me all excited, but the video clip kept splicing bits of the Twilight film in. What is the world coming to?

Plus the verses had a completely horrible electronic rap style, I'm reserving judgement on the chorus, it did seem a little catchy after one listen.
