2Pac vs. Biggie
 

Who do you think is the better of the two? When I first started listening to rap I was really into 2Pac and I thought he was better. But then I started to listen to all of Biggie's stuff and I have to say I think he was the better. He's just got ridiculous talent -- not to say that Pac doesn't -- but I just like Biggie's stuff more.

I like Biggie better. His music was better to just chill and listen to.

I am not a fan of rap, but I do listen to it. I like 2pac better.

But all that aside, music wise Biggie absolutely destroys Pac IMO. I dont know what it is, but something about him makes me want to listen to him and Pac just doesn't do that for me

I like "Hit 'Em Up" by Tupac though. I don't know, both were extremely talented. The more I listen the more I can see talent in both.

2Pac is the most over rated jock riden musician in the history of music. I won't respect anyones musical tastes if they think that 2Pac is better then biggie.

considering that they both had to die because of this silly rivalry, i dont wanna say either is better. they were both rap legends, and if any of the popular guys in the game right now was half as good as either of these guys, then rap would not be the same.

I'm gonna tell you now that I'm not gonna do the poll.
I like both rappers equally. I respect them in the sense that they did something lots of probably dream of doing. They died for the sake of music. Although they didn't die trying t prove anything in music or whatver they just bascially died because of a bunch of jelous people or whatvever.

And I think that if it hadn't been for their death, we wouldn't have to put up with rappers like 50 cent.

And I think that it is kinda stupid to ask who is better. They were the best rappers of their times. Asking which is better is like asking me which is nastier: hersehy's or skittles.

I think pac is better then biggie..
and the reason i like pac because he was not rapping all about selling drugs and killing people.
pac was like yo this is how i really feel...he makes songs about politics,be proud to be black,suicide thoughts,the everyday struggle and how the world is wrong and just stuff everybody is thinking
he showed his softer side...that's why everybody could relate to him cause i don't care how hard you are everybody has a soft side.
and that's the thing artist like biggie and all rappers out there today don't have...they all out there selling an image...pac was the only person who just told it like he felt.
biggie is a good lyricist but for me and most people who listen hip hop its more about the emotion....when your sad you listen to a sad pac song...when your happy you listen to a happy pac song...pac was an allround artist ... biggie was more of a lyricist...he can deliver some good gangsta sh;t but that's it.

Both rappers were legendary, and no one in the game right now can touch either even if they tried (except maybe Nasir). Let's not live out the stupid quarrel that ended up killing these two in the first place.

I Think 2pac is better, but only because he has had loads more albums, if they had the same, biggie would probably be better

I dunno, when you look at the good songs from both, tupac has so much more to offer. It would take me a while to list all of tupac's good ones, but then again, there's been so much music released after his death.

you have a good point there, when biggie died, his music died, but when 2pac died his music carried on.

whoever said pac was a fake studio thug is a dumbass. How can you say you started listening to a lot of biggie and came to like him. He had no material to work with!!!! He came out with 3 albums, one which did not make it big. I give him credit for his life after death because it was a good album, but overall biggie was just too soft to face pac. Pac dissed biggie so much and biggie came back with that weak ass going back to cali. Everyone with common sense knows that pac did more for the rap game than biggie. If you look at the fanbase, pac has more than twice biggie does. Biggie was also a commercial rapper like Jay-z. He was too fake.
